As far as masterclasses go, this is about as niched down as I've seen. And that's an incredible thing because as much as I love some 'other' masterclasses from non-commercial directors, they're mainly high-level conceptual speak with little to no actionable insights. In this course Jordan brings the goods, the magic, dare I say, the voodoo.

Jordan's ability to be concise yet connect all the dots in theses videos of the commercial directing process I really believe is invaluable. It's one thing to explain one or two jobs, but this course really dives into the norms and some of the curve balls you might get thrown throughout. It's clear that Jordan has been doing this for a long time, is thoughtful about how he does it, and It's all the stuff you wished a seasoned professional could tell you if you had a chance to hang out with them.

This masterclass was fantastic. I have 10 years of directing experience, but am newer to the world of commercial directing. This masterclass (and most of Jordan's work) gives me priceless insight into the process of the advertising world so that I can, in fact, respect that process. If you're familiar with Jordan's podcast and book, you get an even deeper dive into some of his best practices and experiences. His BTS footage and case study is worth the price alone.

Jordan put together a great set of rules and ideas for moving forward into directing commercials. The case studies and included boards are incredibly helpful.

Jordan Brady's Directing Master Class is the best online course for the filmmaking business by far. In it you will go step by step in the whole process of directing a commercial with a hands on approach and point that only someone with years of experience can have. If you desire to work as a commercial director, this is the course for you. If you read Brady's book "Commercial Directing Vodoo", this course is a deep dive into the elements found in the book. There are severall PDF's with examples of treatments and storyboards that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet - Rare Golden Nuggets for any commercial Director in the making. You will also see spots that went on air and the whole process in making them into being, which is fantastic. Jordan Brady lays out and explain the entire process dor you to learn and respect. Amazing!

We see end products, we see bts but what about practical things you don't document. That's my take on the class, X factor items. Think about it, take a lap and decided what lane you want to be in.
